Ashley grew up in western North Carolina and traded the mountains for the beach when she attended and graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration. She moved back to the Charlotte area in 2004 and settled in York County where her grandparents and great-grandparents were from and extended family have lived for years.

For 16 years, Ashley has been employed in banking where she helped consumers and businesses with their everyday financial needs, loans, and mortgages. In 2019 she became licensed to assist customers with investments and long-term planning to meet their needs and achieve their goals.

Ashley joined Peoples First in 2021 to help develop their new, innovative expansion called Client Program Designer. She works with clients and their Risk Advisors to clarify long-term goals and potential areas for development. She helps anticipate and identify risks to develop recommendations for strategic plans and action steps to mitigate or minimize risks that could interfere with clients’ future success. She identifies with one of Peoples First’s core philosophies: While insurance is important, that isn’t the only way to mitigate risk.

Ashley enjoys volunteering in our community with several organizations including Kiwanis Club of Rock Hill, Good Folks of York County, and Boys and Girls Clubs of York County.

She lives in Fort Mill with her husband, Wes, who teaches science at Fort Mill High School. They enjoy lots of outdoor activities with Blue, their 2-year old rescue ‘fur-baby’.
