It is with a very heavy heart that we share that a member of our Peoples First family passed away on Saturday, June 16th. Ken always put others before himself and was a dear friend to everyone here at Peoples First as well as his many clients. He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
Thomas Kenneth “Ken” Cushman, 70, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his home in York.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Filbert Presbyterian Church with Rev. Wallace Tinsley and Rev. Dave Hall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church until 6 PM.
Born December 2, 1947, Ken was the son of the late Thomas Augustus Cushman and Mildred Mullis Cushman. He was a member of Filbert Presbyterian Church and retired recently as the VP of Commercial Lines for Peoples First Insurance in Rock Hill.
He is survived by his wife Janice Deas Cushman, children, Melissa Cushman Carroll (Rhett) of York, Jennifer Cushman Ramsey (Lee) of Sharon, Thomas Kenneth Cushman Jr. of York, sister Louise Cushman Stevens (Tommy) of Little River, SC, mother-in-law Edith Hope Deas of Rock Hill, SC, grandchildren, Cody Cushman (Kayla), Gracin Carroll, Lukas Carroll, Maddie Ramsey, and EmmiLee Ramsey, and one great grandson Clark Thomas Cushman.
